The World of Coffee

Coffee is the most popular beverage globally, grown in the "Coffee Belt" (Africa, Asia, Latin America). Flavor profiles vary by bean type (Arabica/Robusta), processing (washed/dry), and grade (premium/bulk). Arabica offers smooth, aromatic notes, while Robusta delivers bold, high-caffeine intensity.

Arabica: The Premium Choice

DRUGAR (Dry Processed): Sun-dried for 3–4 weeks, yielding fruity, wine-like flavors with a full body. Common in Ethiopia and Brazil.

WUGAR (Washed Processed): Fermented and rinsed for a clean, bright cup with floral acidity. Dominates Colombian and Kenyan coffees.

Robusta: Bold & Caffeinated

Screen 18 (Premium): Large beans with smooth bitterness, ideal for espresso crema. Grown in Uganda and Vietnam.

Screen 15 (Mid-Grade): Balanced for instant coffee blends. Mild acidity with earthy notes.

Screen 12 (Bulk): Commercial-grade, strong bitterness. Used in mass-market products.
