RHINO SEEDS is a member of several associations like USTA (Uganda Seed Trade Association), Crop Life (Engaged in agrochemical importation, distribution and safe handling), UNADA (Uganda National Agro Input Dealer’s Association) that is the association for distribution of quality inputs to the stockiest in the interior rural place, who lack the financial backing to grow their business. The financial backing is guaranteed by AT-Uganda, an NGO sponsored by DANIDA. This ensures the payment security to the suppliers and at the same time also avails the inputs on credit to the stockiest.
We have Membership with the following government institutions:
1) Uganda National Chamber of Commerce & Industries (UNCCI)
2) Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB)
3)Public procurement and Disposal of public Assets (PPDA)
RHINO SEEDS also collaborates with Agricultural Intuition-NARO-in research related activities, breeding and product development. The inspection of crops for certification is done by MAAIF -NSCS. We have very good working relationships and also affiliated to the following organizations viz: AFSTA (African Seed Traders Association), CYMMIT (Centre for Improvement of Maize and Wheat).
